Chris is a Managing Director, Medical Affairs at Health2047. In this role, she ensures all Health2047 solutions and ventures include physician input and practical frame of reference during development. She provides subject matter expertise and utilizes the perspective of a physician with 40 years of experience in practice, operations/management, innovation, and team building. Chris engages in all ventures from the outset, and more deeply with those that have a clinical basis. Chris also hosts the podcast, “So You Want to Transform Healthcare” and leads the Productivity Pillar. Before joining the team full time in September 2020, she served as an Advisor to Health2047. Previously, Chris served as a respected and effective leader in practice, hospital, and academic settings. She served 15 years as Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine Professor and Chair of Anesthesiology. Prior to Northwestern, Chris spent 15 years at Emory University’s School of Medicine, where she earned tenure. Chris earned her BS and MD from Northwestern and where she also completed anesthesiology residency and critical care medicine and research fellowships.
