Tom Frederick

Tom has more than 35 years of global and cross-industry experience that spans senior operating, venture investing, and strategic advisory roles. Tom is a proven business leader with a demonstrated track record of success developing new ideas, creating industry-level solutions, and building both public and private companies that scale globally. He has spent more than 15 years operating and advising venture capital-financed companies, both in CEO or board roles, and as a senior executive in marketing, sales, engineering, service, and finance.

Tom also has deep roots in venture capital, having spent five years as a Global Partner at Arthur Andersen Ventures and General Partner in the Silicon Valley office of Venrock Associates where he served numerous venture-financed companies in various operating and advising capacities. He is currently Managing Partner at Health2047 Capital Partners. Tom also spent three years as global head of technology at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where he created the business architecture, operating plan and economic model for In-Q-Tel, a purpose-built venture capital entity designed to leverage third-party investment and expertise in addressing systemic problems facing the Central Intelligence Agency.

Tom has a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and completed the Corporate Strategy Executive Education program at Harvard Business School. He has served as a board member for over a dozen public and private companies and currently serves as an advisor to Health2047 Inc. in the area of technology business consulting. He served on Health2047 Inc.’s Board from November 2015 to January 2018.
