Steve Bochner has been practicing corporate and securities law for over 30 years, representing many of Silicon Valley’s most prominent companies. Currently a partner and board member at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati, Steve served as CEO of that firm from 2009-2012, achieving record financial results and completing key strategic initiatives. He also serves on the board of directors at both the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and Joint Venture Silicon Valley, and is chairman of the Berkeley Center for Law, Business and the Economy. Steve was deeply involved in designing the IPO-related provisions of the JOBS Act of 2012 and was appointed a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies. He received his BS in Political Science from San Jose State University and his JD from University of California, Berkeley, where he went on to lecture on corporate and securities law.
