Charles is an Advisor at Health2047. Charles brings over 30 years of experience in negotiating and drafting life sciences technology license agreements, and counseling in the development, protection, manufacture and distribution of products, particularly in the areas of pharmaceutical products, medical diagnostic products, and medical devices. After earning his PhD in Organic Chemistry from MIT, and prior to earning his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Charles was a post-doctoral research fellow at the California Institute of Technology, an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Texas A&M University, and held several positions at Genentech, Inc., including Director of Organic Chemistry, and Project Director for Genentech’s tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) project. He received his BS in Chemistry from Miami University.
